高分子科學(xué)與工程學(xué)院是青島科技大學(xué)創(chuàng)辦歷史最長、最具學(xué)科專業(yè)特色的學(xué)院之一，其前身可以追溯到1950年創(chuàng)辦的沈陽輕工高級(jí)職業(yè)學(xué)校的橡膠工藝專業(yè)。經(jīng)過60年的建設(shè)，學(xué)院已發(fā)展成為我國高分子材料與工程（橡膠工程、塑料工程、高分子合成）、包裝工程、印刷工程及復(fù)合材料與工程領(lǐng)域高級(jí)專業(yè)人才培養(yǎng)、科學(xué)研究以及技術(shù)開發(fā)的重要基地，特別是橡膠工程專業(yè)已為社會(huì)輸送了各類高級(jí)專業(yè)技術(shù)及管理人才近2萬人，是我國橡膠工業(yè)人才培養(yǎng)的搖籃。
學(xué)院現(xiàn)有教職工99人，其中教授24人、雙聘院士1人、博士生導(dǎo)師8人、泰山學(xué)者1人、擁有博士學(xué)位的教師43人（洪堡學(xué)者3人）、省級(jí)教學(xué)名師、省突出貢獻(xiàn)專家及省拔尖人才各1人。目前各類在校生達(dá)2300人。
學(xué)院設(shè)有材料科學(xué)與工程博士后流動(dòng)站、三個(gè)博士學(xué)位授予點(diǎn)（材料學(xué)、材料加工工程、高分子化學(xué)與物理）和材料科學(xué)與工程一級(jí)學(xué)科碩士學(xué)位授予點(diǎn)及材料工程碩士學(xué)位授予點(diǎn)。依托高分子學(xué)科建有橡塑材料與工程教育部重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室。
學(xué)院設(shè)有五個(gè)專業(yè)教學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)室（高分子物理、高分子化學(xué)與材料、橡塑工程、印刷包裝工程、復(fù)合材料與工程）；教育部重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室設(shè)有主要服務(wù)于科學(xué)研究和新技術(shù)開發(fā)的高分子材料分析測(cè)試中心和橡塑加工實(shí)驗(yàn)室。擁有材料制備、結(jié)構(gòu)表征、性能測(cè)試和成型加工等總值約4000萬元的各種先進(jìn)測(cè)試儀器和設(shè)備，實(shí)驗(yàn)室總面積達(dá)6800平方米，為本學(xué)科科學(xué)研究和高級(jí)人才培養(yǎng)提供了現(xiàn)代化的高水平實(shí)驗(yàn)平臺(tái)。
學(xué)院始終堅(jiān)持特色辦學(xué)的指導(dǎo)思想，教學(xué)與科研相互促進(jìn)，取得了一系列成果。多年來，承擔(dān)和完成了一系列國家、省、部級(jí)重大科研項(xiàng)目及工業(yè)合作項(xiàng)目。高分子材料與工程國家級(jí)特色專業(yè)建設(shè)取得了豐碩成果，《高分子物理》、《橡膠工藝學(xué)》課程分別被評(píng)為國家及省級(jí)精品課程，高分子物理教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)被評(píng)為省級(jí)教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)，出版了數(shù)十部專業(yè)教材、專著。
學(xué)院積極開展對(duì)外交流與合作，先后與德國、美國、日本、韓國等建立了友好合作關(guān)系。其中德國朗盛公司青島高性能橡膠研發(fā)中心在我校的落成，并與橡塑材料與工程教育部重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室的密切協(xié)作，成為我校國際科技合作的亮點(diǎn)。另有多家企業(yè)在我院設(shè)立了研發(fā)中心和窗口實(shí)驗(yàn)室。
在未來的發(fā)展中，學(xué)院將繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持辦特色專業(yè)的指導(dǎo)思想，以長期的歷史積淀為基礎(chǔ)，形成以橡膠工程為突出特色，塑料工程和高分子材料三個(gè)專業(yè)方向協(xié)同復(fù)合材料與工程、包裝工程與印刷工程專業(yè)共同發(fā)展，工程研究與基礎(chǔ)理論相互促進(jìn)，人才培養(yǎng)與科學(xué)研究并重的工作格局，努力推進(jìn)國家級(jí)特色專業(yè)建設(shè)，強(qiáng)化團(tuán)隊(duì)建設(shè)，為實(shí)現(xiàn)研究教學(xué)型學(xué)院積極踏實(shí)地工作，為學(xué)校的發(fā)展續(xù)寫新的篇章。
Introduction
The School of Polymer Science and Engineering (SPSE) is one of the Schools with the longest history and the most specialized characteristic in Qingdao University of Science and Technology. It originated from the Rubber Technology Specialty of Shenyang Advanced Vocational School of Light Industry established in 1950. After 60 years of development, SPSE has become an important base for scientific research, technology development and personnel training in Polymer Material and Engineering (Rubber Engineering, Plastics Engineering and Polymer synthesis), Packaging Engineering and Printing Engineering, Composite and Engineering. It needs specially mentioning that Rubber Engineering, as a national rubber industry personnel training cradle, has provided China’s rubber industry with nearly 20,000 high-level technicians and talents of management.
SPSE currently has over 2300 full-time students, and a staff of 99, with 43 of them holding doctorate, including 24 full-time professors, 1 part-time academician, 8 doctoral supervisors, 1 Taishan Scholar, 3 Humboldt scholars, 1 Provincial Model Teacher, 1 Provincial Outstanding Contribution Expert and 1 Provincial Top-notch Talent.
SPSE currently has one post-doctoral station and three PhD programs, namely, Materials Science, Material Processing Engineering and Polymer Chemistry and Physics, respectively. It offers MS programs of Materials Science, Material Processing Engineering, Polymer Chemistry and Physics, and Material Process (MS degree in Engineering), respectively. The Key Laboratory of Rubber-plastics, Ministry of Education was established with the backing of the School.
SPSE has established five specialty laboratories for teaching (Polymer Physics, Polymer Chemistry and Polymeric Materials, Rubber and Plastics Engineering, Printing and Packaging Engineering, Composite and Engineering). One polymer analytic center and one processing center for scientific research are affiliated to the Key Laboratory of Rubber-plastics, Ministry of Education. The School is equipped with advanced analytical instruments with a value of approximately 40,000,000 RMB which are located in a total floor space of 6800 square meters.
SPSE has made a series of achievements by mutual promotion of teaching and research. In recent years, it has successfully completed a series of national, provincial and industrial cooperation research projects. Two courses of Polymer Physics and Rubber Technology were awarded the National and Provincial Courses, and its Polymer Physics teaching group was named the Provincial Teaching Group.
Over the decades, SPSE has established close cooperative relations with Germany, the Unite States, Japan and South Korea. Lanxess (Qingdao) Research Center of High Performance Rubber, located beside the Key Laboratory of Rubber-plastics, Ministry of Education in Sifang campus of QUST, is the highlight of successful research cooperation. In addition, many enterprises have established research centers and demonstration laboratories in our School.
SPSE has been taking the lead in Rubber Engineering in China in the past sixty years, and it now has a working pattern with Rubber Engineering as its highlight, jointly developing of Plastic Engineering, Polymer Materials, Packaging Engineering and Printing Engineering and Composite Engineering, mutually advancing of engineering research and basic theory study, and talents fostering and scientific research sharing the same emphasis. It is now trying to add a new chapter to the university development through advancing the national characteristic specialty, strengthening team construction, and building SPSE into a famous teaching and research School.
